THE COVERS: AUGUST BURNS RED “CAROL OF THE BELLS”
In case you haven’t already noticed, the holiday season is upon us once again. In conjunction with the special time of year, we here at The Scene As We Know It are getting in the holiday spirit by dedicating the entire month of December towards featuring covers of Christmas classics on our weekly editions of The Covers.
To kick off the month on a mosh-worthy high note, we are featuring August Burns Red‘s iconic cover of the ever popular Christmas ballad, “Carol of the Bells.” The band released the rendition way back in 2008 and have since released a full length album dedicated entirely to Christmas covers, Sleddin’ Hill: A Holiday Album, which featured a re-recorded version of, “Carol of the Bells.”
You can check out the original version the band released below, and be sure to check back next week for another Christmas song to get you in the holiday spirit!
