With the mainstream pop punk genre being mainly dominated by bands such as Blink-182 and All Time Low, it’s simple to understand how hard it is for a band of smaller stature to make any relevant type of splash in such an overpopulated scene. Now, notice, keyword ‘hard,’ not impossible, and New York natives, Bring Home Ohio, prove just that on their single, “The Way It Goes.”

The track contains some of the most polished pop punk 2012 has seen thus far, and with the year winding to a close, it’s guaranteed to keep that label. Frontman, Alex Magnan, delivers an extremely appealing performance which coincides seamlessly with guitarists Gabe Pietrafesa and Dylan Fader. This goes without mentioning the songs aurora of catchy-ness that will not only have you singing along in no time, but will also give you the true understanding of the ‘replay’ button – because believe us, you will be using it.
