THE SCENE: ERRA BEGIN PRODUCTION ON NEW ALBUM

Progressive metalcore outfit, Erra, have announced that they will be beginning production on their brand new full length album today.

You can check out a message from the band below:

THIS Saturday we begin production on our brand new full-length album. We will be slaving away in the studio for 5 weeks. We are doing this album with Brian Hood at 456 Recordings, the same engineer that we did “Impulse” with. We are so proud of these songs, and have so much faith in what they are going to do to further push us along in our musical career. Hearing them come to life in the studio will truly be an emotional experience, and one that we want to share with all of you through plenty of studio update videos and commentary regarding the album. We love you all and are forever appreciative of how much you guys inspire us to be better musicians and better people. This album is for us. You are part of that “us”.

THE SCENE: ERRA PREMIERE NEW MUSIC VIDEO

THE SCENE: ERRA

Progressive metalcore band Erra are one of those few bands out there that actually deserve a whole lot more attention than they are getting. Hailing from Birmingham, Alabama, the five members that help create the epic metal that is Erra are the pulverizing vocals by frontman Garrison Lee accompanied by intense guitar work from Jesse Cash and Alan Rigdon contrasting seamlessly with an occasional, calming piano prove to be a formula that works extremely well for the band.

Having self released two EPs (Self-Titled and Andromeda) and their debut full length (Impulse) on November 30, 2011, via Tragic Hero Records, the band has recently stated that they are getting ready to start writing their sophomore full-length. Check out a statement below:

If what they’re working on now is anything like their previous releases, we are in for a tremendous treat. Erra continue to amaze me with every release, and I don’t see them stopping with this one.
