THE SCENE: SAVES THE DAY PERFORM NEW SONG ACOUSTICALLY
Post hardcore outfit, Saves The Day, recently performed an acoustic version of a brand new song, titled, “Ring Pop.” The full band version is off the bands highly anticipated eighth full length album, which is due out sometime late 2013.

THE SCENE: VICTORY RECORDS FAIL TO ANNOUNCE STREETLIGHT MANIFESTO ALBUM RELEASE DATE
Chicago IL, based label, Victory Records, revealed earlier this week that would finally be announcing the release date for Streetlight Manifesto‘s highly anticipated full length album, The Hands That Thieve, this Friday. At this point, the date still hasn’t been announced.

Pop rock outfit, The Maine, have revealed via Twitter that they will be releasing their highly anticipated fourth full length independently. The band also announced that Brendan Benson (guitarist for The Raconteurs) will be producing the record.
